Secular accounts would seem to disagree. While most Muslims are great people who are incredibly friendly and good-natured, as a collective, they are not the "best people". In almost all Western nations with a Muslim minority, Muslims are incarcerated at a percentage that is greater than their general percentage of the population. A startling example of this is France where, as of January 2015, an estimate 70% of prison inmates are Muslim, compared with only 12% of French people being Muslims.
