Heterogenous mixture
Glittery nail polish is a heterogeneous mixture.
It is heterogeneous.
No it's homogeneous. There are no separate parts even though it's usually a mixture.
I guess that it is a homogeneous mixture because it doesn't show the pattern and a hetergeneous does. So, yes it is a homogeneous mixture. Welcome:)!
Homogeneous
Well, iron fillings can't really be a mixture, since there aren't two different substances here. ________________________ But to answer the question- 1. Iron Filings are homogeneous as they are of the same or similar kind (from the definition of homogeneous). 2. They are a homogeneous substance being a physical material which has discrete existence (from the definition of substance).

Rust is considered a type of heterogeneous mixture. It is not uniform, and it has various visible components that can be separated mechanically.
Paint is a compound. It is made up of elements.
It's a few things. First, it's a mixture of a lot of different chemicals. It's also a Suspension--solids dispersed in a liquid. This is why you have to agitate the bottle by twirling it between your hands (do NOT shake nail polish unless you like bubbles in your nails!) before you use it. The various products in it are all compounds.
