It's easier than you would think. Just remember to listen to your Drill Sergeants, take it one day at a time, and never give up. Write home often, and encourage them to write you back- it'll keep you motivated. Keep a journal, too. Don't talk back or fight authority, and never say, 'it's not fair'. And finally, find out who the best soldiers in your platoon are, and make buddies with them. They will watch your back, and you be sure to watch theirs.
