Most of them actually have front wheel drive, but more and more new ones are coming with all wheel drive (not necessarily quite the same thing as 4 wheel drive or 4X4). Some people also like to customize their vans and retrofit them with 4X4 chassis.
you have to get a tranny from a two wheel drive and drive shaft. remove everything to do with four wheel drive and hook up the new tranny crossmembere and drive shaft then it will work. if you want to do the front end good luck
More than likely you will need a new transmission, a new front axel with differential and a half shaft.
