yes and nothing but yes
Yes, pure nickel is one of the few metals that's ferromagnetic; i.e. it's attracted to a magnet and can itself be magnetized. Iron and cobalt are the only other two common ferromagnetic metals. Gadolinium, neodymium and samarium are the remaining metals.
ferromagnetic
Probably not. You need a ferromagnetic material for a magnet to stick. There are basically three elements that are ferromagnetic: Cobalt [Co]; Nickel [Ni]; & Iron [Fe] (and some esoteric ones too). If the metal alloy that has been plated with silver to make the "silver plate" has enough of these then a magnet will stick, of these, only Nickel is commonly a component of alloys that are plated but often not in concentrations that are sufficient to make it obviously magnetic.
this area represent the energy lost per cycle in ferromagnetic material during the magnetization process by hysteresis and in some cases also by eddy current magnetic losses and electric losses
Cu is slightly diamagnetic -- has a small tendency to repel magnets, so no, not a magnetic material.
The most common ones are iron, nickel and cobalt, though there is a great variety of somewhat exotic ferromagnetic substances.
Yes, steel is a ferromagnetic material.
Ferromagnetic materials like iron, cobalt, nickel and steel are magnetic. Most other materials are not.
These three metals, iron cobalt, and nickel, are ferromagnetic.
Ferromagnetic materials are materials that can easily be magnetized. The most popular and natural materials that exhibit that property include; nickel, cobalt, iron and their alloys.
Nickel is a ferromagnetic material and magnetic. So, German silver (called also: nickel silver, argentan) is magnetic.
No. Gold is diamagnetic. The only ferromagnetic metals at room temperature are iron, cobalt and nickel

Yes, like iron both nickel and cobalt are ferromagnetic metals.
