Well, if you mean something like a spaghetti or pasta/ soup noodle, then yes they do, because spaghetti is a starch i believe, and starches contain carbs in them. They have the complex carbs, which are better energy for the day. The simple carbs aren't as good, and are usually more fattening. You can find that (sugar) in pretty much all candy. It's much better to have the complex carbs, but too much of one good thing is bad, because when you have too many carbs, your body will not need it anymore, and will store it as fat. Hope I helped.
