No, one of a pair of identical twins is not always gay.

A 1991 study (Michael Bailey & Richard Pillard) in the USA found that when one identical twin was gay, there was a 52 percent chance that the other was gay too.

With fraternal twins, if one was gay, the chances of the other being gay were only 22 percent.

If being gay is strictly genetic, as many people think, then with identical twins their sexual orientation would alwaysbe the same, both gay, or both straight.

No, sexual orientation is determined by a combination of genetic, hormonal, environmental, and social factors. Therefore, both identical twins may not necessarily have the same sexual orientation.

Is it possible for only one twin to develop autism?

Yes, it is possible. In one study, the chance that an identical twin has autism when the other does is 82%. That means that 18% of the identical twins did not have autism. It is much more likely that an identical twin will have autism if the other does than that a fraternal twin or other sibling will, but it does not happen every time.

What are the chances of having twins when the father to be is an identical twin and his mother has identical twin brothers?

You have the same chance as the general population. Identical twins are a genetic accident, researchers still don't know what triggers an egg to split making two embryos from one fertilized egg.

If a twin has diabetes do they both have it?

If 1 identical twin has it, the odds are higher than regular siblings that the other twin will get it. If 1 fraternal twin has diabetes, the odds are the same as if any of their siblings have it. But no, if one twin has it, that doesn't necessarily mean both do.

How do you tell a identical twin that has a twin that likes you too and ask one out on a date?

you don't have to tell the twin anything, they are separate people, just date the one you like. Tell the one you like that you think her twin is cool and leave it at that.... don't worry what the other may think.
