The PAK-FA is a fighter in the tradition of, say, the F-22, while the J-20 seems to be more of a light, supersonic, bomber.Neither of them are, so far, operational aircraft and neither are anything more than airframes with engines and a lot of test equipment. Yes the F-35 will be better than any other fighter it comes against. Just 1 F-35 has the air superiority capability of 6 F-15s. The F-35 will be 4 times better than a Su-35 and is years ahead the new Russian PAK-FA even. With stealth, high speed, high AOA and maneuverability, and internal weapons, the only jet better than the F-35 is the F-22 but even then the gap between the F-22 and F-35 is very small. The F-35 someday may even be better than the F-22.
