static electricity
It's called static electricity. Static charges can attract or repel other static charges.
This is because of static electricity, like that caused when you rub a balloon on your hair and it then sticks to the ceiling, or how a comb rubbed on wool sticks to paper.
because of negative and positive atoms

Static, a form of magnetism
because of negative and positive atoms
The static eliminator strip is a long bar located near the end of the paper track that removes the intense static cling generated for use in the printing process.
they coat the sheet of paper in a positive charge so that the paper has no static build up
Static electricity is an electric charge built up on persons or objects through friction,and a balloon is a rubber *ball8 thing that you blow up. your welcome
when we rub an item with any rough fabric it charges the object(inwhich the electrons are free to move and are bouncing from here and there )attracts the articles like paper ,tissue paper etc.but when the charge gets over the electro static ends up with the falling of the paper or tissue back on to the place where it was before .so i end up by saying that electro static does not long for a long time or forever.
