It seems that it is a "Traffic Infraction". I found a list of bail amounts and code 27360.5 is listed under the infraction section, not the misdemeanor section. If you would like to take a look at the amount you are going to have to pay, here is the link:

The base amount for the first offense is $100. For the second and subsequent offenses it is $250. However, by the time all of the court, bail and other fees are tacked on, the first offense costs $380! Ouch! I'm not sure of the final tally for the subsequent offenses.
