Diesel has a much higher viscosity than petrol (gasoline). It is less refined and contains more oil to lubricate and cool the combustion chamber in a diesel engine.
The simple answer is, it'll gum up the works. Gasoline/petrol is a thinner and more refined fuel whereas diesel is thicker and not as refined.
Diesel engines are more efficient and do use less fuel, but they do not cost less than a petrol engine, they cost more. Diesel fuel also costs more. A diesel engine will however last longer.
for same power diesel engine produces more torque @ less rpm whereas petrol engine produces less torque @more rpm this difference is due to different combustion processes of diesel and petrol
Petrol engines are widely considered to be the most efficient of engines, because they are more refined than diesel. Since diesel is not completely refined, it cannot completely combust and so does not (in theory) produce as much energy per litre of fuel as a petrol engine. However, some diesel engines can be made to be much more efficient than petrol engines because they have a different type of fuel, and burn it in a different way. Petrol is far more comustile compared to Diesel
The new wrangler , with the diesel if you can get one where you are.
Diesel is a more combustible fuel than petrol, therefore less fuel is required to generate the same power as petrol. This also means that spark plugs aren't required, like in a petrol engine, since the diesel will ignite off engine compression alone. This also makes the engine arguably more reliable since there are less parts, and less things to go wrong.
diesel is usually more expensive but diesel cars usually have more mpg than petrol cars
Petrol is and bit more vicous and that diesel is a lot darker than petrol. Petrol burns quicker when set alight, however diesel burns more brightly!
They each have their pros and cons. The Diesel will last longer, use less fuel, and has more pulling power or torque. The petrol is cheaper to build, fuel cost less, and is cheaper to repair.
the less u burn the more u earn
