No it does not cause cancer. Cancer is the uncontrolled abnormal growth of cells. Picking scabs causes scars.
You should not pick the scabs from impetigo, but if any yellow crust has formed overnight, you should remove it.
not looking after it and following the after care procedure, and picking the scabs.

DEAD SKIN.. The process of removing dead skin and scabs or what your mum used to call "picking your scabs off " is called Debridement.
I do not know but I do it a lot, I do not think it is serious and I do not think it has a name.
Hi, Your daughter probably has some dis-comfort or pain in the area, or she has a habbit of picking scabs. hope this helps
Potentially. AIDS is spread through infected blood, so if you pick at the scab enough to draw blood, that blood could infect another person.
Chickens can develop scabs for several reasons. Picking by other members of the flock can draw blood which scabs over, if this is the case you will notice some moderate loss of feathers. Your chickens can also have insect infestation. Mites and barn fleas, deerflies and gnats can and will draw blood or bite and irritate the bird to the point they will peck at themselves. A good dusting with commercial mite control once or twice per year will remedy this problem.
because when you bleed the blood hardens and turns into scabs
you get scabs when you scratch and your blood hardens when you leave it untreated.
No buddy, give the cut time to heal. Picking at scabs to make them prematurely slough off can lead to scarring. Then you'll have a skin imperfection that can't be removed so easily.
