A Synthetic Polymer
Plastic toys are synthetic
Polyethylene is the synthetic polymer commonly used to make plastic bags and squeeze bottles. It is a versatile and widely used material due to its durability and flexibility.
Plastic polymersÊcan be made from plants, oil, or even natural gas. It can be a synthetic plastic or a semi-synthetic as long as it is a moldable solid polymer.
Not always, although the term is widely used for plastics such as polystyrene and polyethylene, and for artificial fibers such as Dacron, which like plastic bottles is a form of polyethylene terephthalate (PET). There are some natural polyesters. A "polyester" is any natural or synthetic polymer (repeated chain molecule) containing esters. But the term is usually applied to two groups of synthesized molecules: thermoplastics and thermosets.
Polymers can have a range of physical appearances depending on their specific chemical makeup. They can be solid, flexible, rigid, clear, opaque, or colored. Common examples include plastic bottles (polyethylene terephthalate) and rubber bands (natural or synthetic rubber).

Somebody really has to answer this question because right now I'm doing a project and I need the answer! ;)---------------------------------------Plastic is made from natural resources - the materials come from oil and the energy to produce the bottle comes from coal, natural gas, or other sources depending where it is made. While not a "natural" resource, I do consider plastic bottles resources because they contain large amounts of energy. Currently, a large percent of plastic bottles end up in landfills - rendering this resource useless. Instead, the plastic can be recycled so as to save virgin resources from being mobilized, it can be burned in a waste-to-energy plant to reduce its volume and create electricity, or it could be thermochemically converted into a variety of synthetic fuels and chemicals via various industrial processes (namely gasification/Fischer-Tropsch synthesis).
Plastic bottles are mostly recyclable
Most plastic bottles are a mix of new and recycled plastic.
Aluminum and the natural resources in plastic!!!!
The 'filling' part of cardboard is natural: wood dust The 'binding' part is synthetic glue
