No, playing does not make you smarter the way homework does.
It depends on your personality and your likes. If the homework was art related and somebody liked art then chances are that person wont mind doing that homework. If another person hates art then they probally wont want to do their homework. People tend to due better quality work if they like what they are doing. So im going to say its about 50% of people want homework!
It is better than comp. hmwk cause we get to type and not handwrite it....plus you could type at home instead of lugging a textbook home then back to school again..... hope that helped...
Since math homework IS math, you can't really say one is better or worse than the other.

Well, it depends on what type of homework. So if you have to study for a test it is best to have a lot instead of having a little because if you have a little you will have a hard time understanding the test.
You use "than" when you're comparing one thing to another. In all other case, use "then." For example, I like pizza better than steak. If you like steak better than pizza, then you must be crazy. I'd rather play video games than do my homework, but if I don't get my homework done, then my parents will ground me.
They are both great sports, however, I find playing basketball better than playing football. ---- The Question of is basketball better than football is not easily answered since it all lies in the realm of opinion.
In my opinion studying is much more effective. Homework helps you to better understand the work from class. Some subjects like math and science require practice in order for you to become really good at them, so homework is more important than "studying." Studying only works if you understand what you are studying, which is where homework can help.
