Yes, totally! "Please Be Quiet" MUCH better, because "Shh" is not a very cool thing to say! It's basically just a sound that's pretty much short for "Shut Up". It's very disrepectful to say it in someone's face out loud enough for spit to come out. So it's a lot better to say "Please Be Quiet" or "Please Lower Your Voice". That's Good manners.
