wax is not carbohydrate!
i am doing a project on animal cells and need a representative for the endoplasmic reticulum which makes proteins there for i chose waxy sticks but my material needs to match the definition it makes proteins so i searched up if wax makes proteins i came across NO answer until.......I came across this one here on ask and i have to say she/he is quite right and even if you search up a carbohydrate it is still correc that wax is neither a protien carbohydrate lipid or nucleic acid!
a carbohydrate
A
Nature of the nucleic acid in the virionSymmetry of the protein shellPresence or absence of a lipid membraneDimensions of the virion and capsid
A) Carbs.
A virus particle is composed of a nucleic acid that is surrounded by the capsid (which is the protective layer that is made out of protein). Some viruses can have lipid envelope however, not all viruses have a lipid envelope.
Yes. All viruses are composed of a nucleic acid surrounded by a protein capsid. When the capsid is not present, the the infectious nucleic acid is called viroid. When the nucleic acid is not present, the infectious protein coating is called prion.
is steroid a carbohydrate, protein lipid or nucleic acid
Insulin is a protein.
It is a nucleic acid.
yes
No, steroids are lipids.
Nucleotides are Nucleic Acids. They are the monomers(sub-units) of Nucleic Acids.
Protein,Carbohydrate,Nucleic acid,Lipid
DNA is considered a type of nucleic acid. These acids are polymeric macromolecules that are required for life. RNA, is another type of nucleic acid.
covalent bonds
hormones (peptides = protein)
lipid, its fat. Its Lipoprotein or we can say Protein-lipid, a combination of protein and lipid.
Carbohydrate! gly = sugar
