It's for PC and PC only.
No Portal 2 is for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
Ignore all those who just read up on the new & spread the rubbish they find without actually trying it out first. The real answer is NO I have the PS3 portal & tried it on my Wii but the Wii just keeps asking for me to insert the Wireless Dongle but no matter what I have tried is unable to find it. The PS3 Dongle is different & thus will not work on your Wii
In order to play the mod Portal: Prelude, you do need to have Portal.
No, they just make it for PS3, XBOX 360 and PC/MAC.
No, due to the way the consoles sync with the portals, they are mostly incompatible. The 3DS variant only works for the 3DS. The XBox 360 version only works on the XBox 360. But the Wii and the PS3 can use each other's portal, they are compatible with either.
I think that you should get Skylanders for the Wii, as fun as they both are, the Wii is probably better as you get a bigger screen, a portal of power and the action figures too. Skylanders is also more fun on the Wii as it is true you get more levels and powers.
Skylanders figures are universal. Any figure will work on any console platform
All Skylander figures are compatible with any of the available platforms, so any Skylander figure you find will work on your Wii version of the game. Only the game software and the Portal of Power are specific to particular platforms, meaning you'd need the Wii version of the game and the Portal of Power in order to play the game on your Wii. I should probably mention that you can plug in ANY version of the Portal of Power to a USB port on your PC in order to use it with the free-to-play Skylanders: Spyro's Universe game; although there may be a driver install process that you'd need to create an account for.
