No, prison is not a luxury. It costs the inmate and the taxpayer to incarcerate a man (or woman). The inmate pays in time served and separation from outside society, and the people pay money to lock a person up. The reason for segregating someone has generally remained the same.
I don't think ANYBODY in their right mind would be for prisoners having any type of luxury items and recreational faciltites. They're in prison to be punished not to be pampered. what i mean is what people do you feel would be for them having those things? it's part of my assignment.
