Some people love the recognition they receive or the personal goals such as confidence or even status associated with the venture. One may set out a goal they believe should be a moral norm, such as, to provide a wide range of health foods for children. (which we have seen happen a lot in the past 5 years) The people, the adventure itself is a roller-coaster of wonder, disappointment and accomplishment. Its all quite common sense i think.
