Apparently Irfan Khan who plays Dr Ratha in the film was originally supposed to be set up to be the proto goblin but the studios scrapped this idea at the last minute which is why Dr Ratha is randomly missing from the movie after the Spiderman and Lizard fight on the bridge. So that concept might be out of the window
