Home school is loads better then public!

In the times of kings you would not send your child off to learn in schools with the other boys and girls. You didn't do this just cause he was a prince and the other children are not. They did it because of the educational benefits. As a school group the teacher must moderate the level of difficulty and the speed at which the class learns. That means that if your the smartest in your class you will be held back, likewise if you don't learn as well as the others you won't be able to keep up.

When your home schooled you are able to create a level that is perfect for your child, not to fast and not to slow, not to complicated and not to simple. This challenges them but does not overwhelm them.

Also all children have a different way in which they learn. Some learn through visual images, some through hearing someone talk about it, and others through doing. These are a few of the ways we learn. In public school they have to do the best they can to use all forms of learning. That means audibly, through the teacher talking. Visual, through the white board. And through action by experiments, or field trips. Well through home school you can focus more on your child's learning type. Meaning that not only does your child understand it better and faster but you can skip all the unimportant stuff like building an beaver dam or something along those lines . That saves HOURS of time.

I remember as a young kid everyone would wake up at 7am, get on the bus and start school at around 8. They would then get back from school at 3:30pm and do there homework. I on the other hand would wake up at 8, have a nice long breakfast. Hang out with my mom, and then precede to finish home school and be completely finished at 12:00pm (that means no homework). I got up later, got more sleep, had a fun time, and finished sooner!

Home school is not only a better education but a better future. Collages understand that homeschooling students are more intelligent and therefore they search high and low for them. Its not very hard to get into collage as a homeschooler. Also, most public schoolers have to take a test and be in the top %20 to get into PSEO. But homeschoolers get in automatically and stay in as long as they keep there grades up.

So not only do you get a better more personalized education through homeschool. But your future in collage and your overall future in life becomes a better place.

This is why homeschooling is better then public school.

Depends on the teachers and students in public schools. Home school makes you learn math, science, and english online. It is free because you do not have pay money for public school field trips.

That depends on the individual situation.

Why is home school better than public school?

In homeschool, a child is with someone who knows them. In public school, the teacher deals with many other students. In homeschool, the child learns at their own pace. In public school, it's either the smarter having to wait for the less smart to figure it out and learning less than they could, or the people that don't understand yet left confused as the teacher moves on. In homeschool, you can get help when you need it. What happens when your homework confuses you in public school and your parents can't help? In homeschool, you can develop your talents. In public school, the future artist and the math geek who can't draw a straight line get the same lessons. In homeschool, your parents can teach you how to behave around others. In public school, you get the list of rules. Is the list of rules going to stop the three jock kids beating up the one weak nerd? No, the list of rules is going to hang on the wall, unresponsive, while nobody is in the hallway. In homeschool, you still have a social life. Public school is where talking gets you yelled at. After school is when you can be with your friends. In homeschool, the chances of cheating on a test decrease since there's nobody to get the answers from. In homeschool, answers will be given faster. In homeschool, you're not 'some kid from one of my Math classes.' You're 'my son/daughter, who I happen to teach.' In homeschool, it's easier to make everyone care about the subject and explain it to everyone individually- there's only one person to explain it all to. In public school, saying it in a good way for everyone would have high schoolers just discovering long division and struggling to read this answer in the average class of thirty. And guess what happens when you're all from different elementary schools? That's right, all the new middle schoolers that knew this in fourth grade sit through the explanation with the kids who don't know this.

If your homeschooled and if you do the work but you somehow don't do it right will they make you go back to public school or can you just teach however in homeschool?

I homeschool and it works great! You can learn any subject just as well as in a public school.

Is formal school better than homeschool?

The effectiveness of formal school versus homeschooling depends on the individual needs and learning styles of the student.
