you can't make an object bigger with light, you can make the shadow bigger by moving it closer to the light source because there is more surface area to block the light.

What is the size of the shadow and the distance of the object from the light source when a shadow is formed?

If you are using a point light source, the shadow's size is the object's size divided by the distance from the light source to the object multiplied by the distance from the light source to the shadow.

What is a visible object that is not a light source?

How is a shadow formed explain?

A shadow is made when an object blocks out light coming from a light source. because there is less light particles in that area, surfaces don't reflect as much, making it darker in that area. that is why you can't see when there is no light source.

What is formed when an object blocks the light source?

A shadow is formed when an object blocks the light source, preventing light from reaching a surface. The shadow appears on the surface opposite the light source and is a silhouette of the object blocking the light.

Is there a relationship between the distance of the light source and the object?

Yes, there is a relationship between the distance of a light source and an object. The intensity of light decreases with increasing distance from the light source following the inverse square law. This means that the further the object is from the light source, the dimmer the light it will receive.

It is produced when a light source is blocked by an object Answer?

[object Object]

How is the brightness of light determined?

The brightness of light is determined by the intensity of the light source and the distance from the source to the object being illuminated. The closer the object is to the light source and the more intense the light, the brighter the light will appear.

What happen to the shadow if an object is closer to the source of light?

When object is closer to source of light ,the shadow formed of the object is shorter and darker.

How you explain the closer the light source to the object the larger the shadow?

By projecting imaginary lines from the light source to the object, you can explain this geometrically. The closer the light source, the wider the angle formed between the lines, and the wider the angle, the longer the line opposite will be.

What is the height of the shadow when the distance from the light source to object is 24cm?

It depends what angle the light is at, for example the shadow would be longer if the light was looking atr the object from the side (45 degrees) than it would be if looking at it from the top of the object(180 degrees).
