It is a type of processor, therefore it is hardware. I recommend the i7 processor, which is a quad core
you cannot download "intel core" to your laptop. the intel core (duo, quad, etc) are a brand of intel processors. its hardware, like a motherboard or sound card. you cannot "download" any hardware. you have to go out to the store, buy it, and insert it into your computer.
quad core has 4 cores a dual core has 2 cores
Software is a digital replacement for a hardware solution. At the core, the microprocessor uses program instructions (software) to emulate results of hardware electronic circuitry. The short answer, it's why you can have a computer UNDER your desk or IN your pocket.
Core 2 Quad
depending on what you are doing with it. the quad core is technically faster then the dual core. This has been a long debate between the computer industry especially when gamers get involved. the only way a dual core or quad core CPU will be faster is if the software you are using is designed with multi-threading or can take advantage of the multiple cores the CPU has. A lot of new programs can do this, but not everything out there can. IMHO i would go with the quad core. I have 2 quad cores CPU and the programs that are not designed for it are just a hair slower. Nothing that will make you pull your hair out, but again this can be up for debate
A VDU is hardware.
Online reviews for the Intel Core Quad are located at many stores that sell the Core Quad. Newegg, Amazon, and HotHardware all feature user reviews from people who purchased the Core Quad.
the Intel core 2 quad
The quad core is better. As its 4 cores, the workload is spread efficiently between them so it runs smoother. But the quad core is more expensive. The Intel Core 2 Duo processor was designed to meet the demand for increased performance from PC users. It can run multiple, intense software applications simultaneously.
Apple uses a range of processors depending upon their needs these include Intel Core 2 Duo, quad-core Intel Core i5, quad-core Intel Core i7, Quad-Core Intel Xeon 3500,, Quad-Core Intel Xeon 5500 "Nehalem" processors.
in nanometers what is the current size of a quad-core processor
