Yes, it's definitely good for you it's very low in Saturated Fat and Cholesterol. It is also a good source of Protein, Vitamin E (Alpha Tocopherol), Thiamin, Riboflavin, Pantothenic Acid, Calcium, Iron, Magnesium, Phosphorus and Selenium, and a very good source of Dietary Fiber, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin K, Vitamin B6, Folate, Potassium and Manganese. (Which are all good by the way).
Eating to much Broccoli can thicken your blood as it contains large amounts of Vitamin K.This happened to me one year ago. I was on a diet which required me to eat broccoli every day. After two months I started to have breathing problems. Within three months I could hardly walk up a hill without being out of breath.
I went to my GP and he didn't know what it was. At the time I was a healthy individual who exercised every day. I had never had breathing problems After six months one day I notice my right knell had swollen much larger than my left knell. I contacted my GP and was immediately sent to hospital for a blood test. They then told me that I had a DVT (Deep vein Thrombosis).
It was then that I was told I had abnormal amount of Vitamin K in my blood. They asked me what I was eating and I told them that I was eating a Broccoli a day. They told me to immediately stop it.
I was then put on Warfarin for six months.I am now off the Warfarin and I have never eaten broccoli since. My breathing seems to have returned back to normal before I went on a diet that contained broccoli every day. I feel great.
Broccoli is actually one of the healthiest veggies around. It is packed with vitamins and minaerals that boost your immune system. But don't cook it, you will cook the goodness out :(
no it is not safe because you could feel dizzy and you could get REALLY sick
if its spoiled, it has bad bacteria in/on it, which will probably make you sick. but if you boil it in boiling water for at least 10 minutes, that should kill anything. ( but still, eew)
that's for me to know and for you to never find out
Yes, it can make you sick.

Broccoli isn't bad for puppies, but it will likely give them gas.
No, it has good fiber and nutrients. Steamed broccoli is best.
broccoli, and other foods like that
Broccoli and kiwifruit are considered high potassium food choices and should be limited by people on dialysis and those with a dietary potassium restriction.
I have never heard it is bad for you. -Possibly if you have a tendency for retaining water or gout.

noHowever, given his free will a rabbit will not choose to eat broccoli leaves but rather head for carrot tops, celery and lettuce. Too many broccoli leaves could be too gassy for your bunny. Remember give treats in moderation only.
Some dishes that use broccoli as an ingredient are cheesy broccoli casserole, broccoli salad, cream of broccoli soup, beef and broccoli stir fry and broccoli cheese soup.
