yes it is way better because i have a ultra pro and a black label and the wheels are better on the black label but the ultra pro is welded to the deck the black label is bolted but that doesnt matter black label is better and change your grips right away

Only the black label is.. the regular model isn't but since the black label comes with metal core wheels and triple stacked clamp its alot more solid. Though, if you are just getting it for the deck then don't get it, Madd Gear Pro decks are stronger, but the black label just comes with more stuff.
