No. But it depends on whether or not you've repeated the same grade before atleast once and on the type of person you are and your age. If you are already too old for that grade your parents or guardians and even your teachers will make it a big deal. The important thing for you to do is know what went wrong and make sure you don't repeat the same mistake twice. Repeating a grade just shows that you are not ready to move on to the next grade. It doesn't make you dumb it just shows that you needed more time to learn and really understand those things that you did in that grade. However you should not want to repeat the same grade twice or even three times.
The teacher will ALWAYS find out if you changed your grade so DON'T do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She can tell, seriously, and if you get a bad grade then big deal!!!!!!!!!!
"it is what it is"
Yes. he says its not a big deal its only 2 grades away.
A D is a passing grade for 9th grade. It is the overall average of all grades that makes the difference between passing and repeating a grade.

Yes most students are 8 or 9 years old unless they are repeating the grade.
Assuming you went to kindergarten in 2006, and continued your education without skipping or repeating a grade, you would be in the 10th grade.
As a percentage it is 77.'7'% repeating '7'
32 out of 60 is 53.33... (repeating) %. The grade which this represents will depend on grade boundaries which, in turn, will depend on the standardising procedure.
