There are 6 vampire academy books and that is final. However, Ricelle mead went on to write the bloodlines books. At the moment bloodlines and following book the golden lily have been released and the food the story of Sydney sage the alchemist. Richelle has announced there will be four bloodlines books SO FAR. I don't know about a T.V series, but the first Vampire Academy movie is set to come out next year (2014). The title is Vampire Academy: Blood Sisters. If they are making a movie for the books, then I believe they probably wouldn't make a T.V series as well, but I don't know.
