The Canadian Pharmacologists Association states, not recommended for children under the age of 15. Though some people have used it, the amount of horrible side effects and chance of developing Parkinsons Disease, I would not suggest using this drug. I know of a 5 year old girl who took this drug and when it did not work, she had to keep taking it because you can not just stop taking it cold. The child now has a severe tick in her neck and shoulders.
I suggest using a behavioral therapy before medication a child. I had warned this mother, yet she went ahead anyways, thinking it would ease her difficulties in parenting, now the child is harmed for life.
