Before using your wireless camera you need to make sure that it's configured properly for your network. For instance, many camera will not support secured wireless network, or if they do it's only WEP. More expensive ones are better about it. What you need to check it's how the camera connects to wireless networks. It might use "get IP address automatically" or it can operate in the manual mode. All of the you need to check.
