No it is not.

Salt is bad for your blood pressure because of the sodium it contains. Sea salt contains the same amount of sodium as normal table salt.

If you have high blood pressure it will be better for you in the long run to get used to using less salt and not add salt to your food atall.

Contrary to popular belief, sea salt is not any lower in sodium than table salt. They both have the same amount of sodium per serving. Sea salt may taste better though.

What are the benefits of using salt?

Using natural sea salt is good for human intestines. Table salt that most people have in their house is not natural sea salt and is not healthy when it is not used in moderation. It can cause high blood pressure, hypertension. Yet too little salt can cause low blood pressure.

What supplements can lower blood pressure?

Vitamin C, vitamin E, magnesium , oils, fats, and sea salt. Sea salt isn't really a 'supplement' but it contains many rich minerals that can reduce or maintain a healthy blood pressure.

What are some myths or legends associated with sodium?

One myth about sodium is that consuming it causes high blood pressure. While excessive sodium intake can contribute to high blood pressure in some individuals, it is not the sole cause. Another myth is that sea salt is healthier than table salt. Both sea salt and table salt contain similar amounts of sodium and should be consumed in moderation.

Where will you experience greater pressure swimming in the sea or swimming in the pool at the same depth?

if you are swimming at the same depth the pressure will be the same. Depth affects pressure directly proportionally. That is if you swim deeper the pressure will become greater. If you swim up the pressure will become less. The size of the body of water does not affect pressure. Think of it this way, the further down you swim the more your ears hurt. they hurt because of the increase in pressure.

How blood pressure is greater than atmospheric pressure?

Blood pressure is the blood flow when the heart is pumping (top number) and when the heart is resting (bottom number). The body is a closed system and requires enough blood pressure to pump the blood throughout the body. A typically healthy blood pressure would be 120mmHg/70mmHg. Atmospheric pressure is the weight of the atmosphere at a specific location and altitude. At sea level, atmospheric pressure is 760mmHg. So actually, atmospheric pressure is much greater than blood pressure. Most people never have to worry about atmospheric pressure affecting blood pressure. However, deep sea divers experience an increase in blood pressure while diving, and astronauts experience a decrease in blood pressure when in space.

Will pressure be the same for salt water and fresh water be the same if dept is the same?

Not really. Salt water is denser(that's why you float better in the sea), so pressure will be greater.

Diets high in sodium are linked to high blood pressure why?

It has been found that excessive consumption of salt can lead to high blood pressure. But it's not as simple as that.First one should note that some people are 'sodium sensitive' but most people are not and can consume up to 3 grams of salt a day without negative consequences.Second, it should be noted that the majority of salt is found in processed foods and restaurant cooked meals. Eating too much processed food can result is excessive salt consumption. If you eat neither processed or restaurant food you will have to add your own salt as a no salt diet can be more harmful to your health than too much salt.Lastly, no all salt is equal. Naturally harvested sea salt is rich in essential minerals whereas processed table salt is simply a bleached chemical devoid of benefits. If you like salt, get the good stuff. For more information on salt and high blood pressure see the blog HighBloodPressureBeGone.comANSWER:Excess Salt in the body causes water retention, which increases Fluid Volume in the Circulatory System. This will cause an increase in Blood Pressure.

Is their a freshwater sea?

No because the salt water can take the pressure of the core under the earth, if there was a fresh water sea the water wouldn't be able to hold the pressure and instead of a sea it would be a gaping void in the earth.
