You can not get a fake email address for Moshi Monsters. If you give them an email address that does not work, you will not be able to activate your Moshi Monsters membership.
Usually, these things are fake. Sending your email and mobile number isn't as dangerous as bank details or address but they may start sending you junk mail or pestering you with texts. You can always send them and then if it is fake block them.

I would enter a fake email address. If they verify email then I would sign up for a free gmail address, sign up for the chat room, go through the verification process, and then don't use that email address anymore.
