I don't have an answer.Just wanted to let you know that my son has been on straterra for about 6weeks now and in the last 3 days has developed severe diarrhea with abdominal pain and cramps.
My 8 year old son has been on Straterra for about 4 months. He had no side effects initially, but over the last two months he's had stomach pains, become pasty white and weak (gets better when he eats), and most recently has had diarrhea for 6 out of the last 10days. Tomorrow we see the Dr. If I learn anything I'll post it, but was glad to read the other posts so I could show them to her to show her I'm not the only mom wondering the same thing?
Today is my 2nd day of Straterra and only the intro dose of 25 mg each. I am 33 female. Today, I became very nauseated and in the evening, had bad diarrhea and some vomiting.
my son is 9 and he has been on straterra now for about 9 months he also complains of severe abdominal pain. I believe that this is an unfortunate side effect for most that are taking this medication.I think it is wise for those who are on this med to schedule a liver panel with the new findings on this medication.
Chemotherapy can cause an upset in the human body. the effects can cause moderate to severe diarrhea. This can also spped up the guant apperance of the patient.
I had severe diarrhea, vomiting and severe gas pains.
According to counsellingresource.com, it is an uncommon side effect but has been observed.
Umm not really injuries, but symptoms are mild-severe diarrhea, vomitting and leg cramps due to the salt imbalance of the body. Also severe dehydration is the side effect of the diarrhea. All these can cause shock and death with in a few hours, due to the rapid loss of fluids in the body Hope that helps.
It is a rare, but possible, side effect.
The unprocessed oil of safflower seed can cause severe diarrhea.
No Upset stomach is NOT NOT NOT a drug allergy
It is for me. Or sometimes constipation. Try the pill.
Constipation is not a side effect of Clavamox. Diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and loss of appetite are possible though.
Clofazimine may cause severe abdominal pain and diarrhea, as well as discoloration of the skin.
Hyperreflexia (severe rapid tonic contraction of body).
My 6 yr. old complains of a cough every morning. Didn't think it had anything to do with strattera because he has allergies, but I'm not sure now. I have had a bit of a cough since taking this med. I believe I read in the drug literature that persistant cough can be a side effect.
