First of all, fasting is a must during Ramadan.
'O you who believe, siyam (fasting) is prescribed on you as it was prescribed to those before you so that you may become self-restrained.' -Surah Baqarah (2-183)
'He who fasts during Ramadan with faith and seeks his reward from Allah will have his past sins forgiven; he who prays during the night in Ramadan with faith and seeks his reward from Allah will have his past sins forgiven; and he who passes Lailat al- Qadr in prayer with faith and seeks his reward from Allah will have his past sins forgiven.' (Bukhari and Muslim)
'But if anyone is ill, or on a journey, the prescribed period should be made up by days later. Allah intends every facility for you; He does not want to put you to difficulties.' --Surah Baqarah
So there should not be a reason that the couple is not fasting during Ramadan. The couple MAY, though, have sexual relations after the fast is opened, after sunset and before dawn the next day. This, also, is ONLY allowed if the couple is married.
it's forbidden to have sex with your spouse only during the part of day in which you are fasting meaning from sun rise till sunfall ( from fajr till maghrib ) however you are allowed to hug and kiss and stuff like that as long as it doesn't lead to actual sexual contact... and Allah knows best
Legally, yes. Religiously, sex before marriage is never allowed.
Fasting with sincere intention and devotion to draw closer to God and seek spiritual growth is blessed. Fasting during the month of Ramadan in Islam, Yom Kippur in Judaism, and Lent in Christianity are all examples of fasts that are considered blessed by adherents of those faiths. Ultimately, it is the purity of intention and the sincerity of the act that determine the blessings of fasting in the eyes of God.
charlie is cool and ur not

Fasting is a perfectly natural, healthy ritual in human culture. It's often associated with religion (Easter and Ramadan for example). Recently fasting has been reborn as a health fad in the form "detoxing". These modified fasts allow for certain foods to be consumed for periods ranging from one to two weeks on average. Nearly all prohibit the processed foods, encourage consuming LOTS of water. ALL of them exclude junk food and alcohol. If you follow them correctly and SAFELY you should have no ill effects like weight gain. In fact, avoiding junk food and drinking plenty of water will most likely have the opposite effect, you'll probably drop a couple of pounds. Depending on how long you fast, you may well gain weight when you start eating again. Fasting reduces your metabolism. Medically-supervised fasting has shown that afterwards, people gain weight on as little as 800 calories per day, compared to 2000+ before fasting. Oprah lost her weight the first time on Optifast, a medically supervised fast that has since been banned. She gained it all back, plus 60 pounds. There's certainly nothing wrong with fasting for a day or two for religious reasons, but extended fasting is a very poor way to lose weight. You'll actually lose more by eating moderately and working out, than by not eating at all. Extended fasting is also a major sympton of anorexia, which is a life-threatening disease.
Because this is your chance to start a new and better life. The point of Ramadan is to feel like poor people. People starve for days and years. Your only starving for a couple of hours. Do something useful like reading quran. A Muslim should try to finish the quran at least 3 times in Ramadan. Its better than watching movies. But if you wanna watch movies make sure it doesnt have any music, bad scenes, and no cussing.
