yes, there are many people killing sharks for the fins and just throwing the carcass back in the water. this has led to many species of sharks being endangered and near extinction

The hunting and the hungry shark
Predation. The shark is hunting and consuming the seal for sustenance.
because of fishing hunting and self distruction
A shark with two fins plays a significant role in the ecosystem as it helps maintain balance and stability in the food chain. Having two fins allows the shark to maneuver more efficiently and effectively while hunting for prey. This increased agility and speed can give the shark an advantage when pursuing and catching its prey, ultimately impacting their hunting behavior by improving their chances of successful hunts.
Mostly in the nights it goes hunting for fish seals otters and ther sorts of underwater wildlife
catches prey in tight crevicesin reefs!
These two sharks have very different hunting strategies. The Gray Reef shark (Carcharhinus amblyrhynchos) eats fish and small squid and gets them by "typical" hunting - chasing small fish at night. They live in coral reef and shoal habitats, whereas the megamouth (Megachasma pelagios) lives in deeper abyssal waters. This shark is unique in that it is one of three that eat microscopic plankton. It 'hunts' by filter feeding, like a whale might.
They are endangered , but studies are underway, monitoring the population and the hunting of them.
I know shark is a common food in Iceland, and possibly China or Japan. Shark Fin Soup is very common in one of those countries. I am not aware of any major companies that specialize in shark hunting.
there where some nature clips of real sharks but it wasnt the movies clips but i may be wrong, there may be some animatronicks. the type of shark is meant to be a great white shark
