No, however there can be referred pain to the shoulder from irritation of the diaphragm. A ruptured ectopic/tubal pregnancy can cause intra-abdominal bleeding which can irritate the diaphragm and refer pain to the shoulder area (tip of scapula). If you have abdominal and shoulder pain or there is any chance you are pregnant and having shoulder pain see a doctor immediately.

If you really think you are pregnant and have pain in the right shoulder you need to go to the doctor. Thats a sign of ectopic pregnancy!

It's not a common complaint, but basicly, everything can hurt.

But if your shoulders hurt, I wouldn't automatically assume that your pregnant.

If you are in early pregnancy call your Dr immediately or go to the ER. This is a sign of ectopic pregnancy and needs to be handled by a Dr right away.
