The Spirit never sins. The Spirit is energy. It is a power, the Soul, the Atman. Who sins? It is the body that is directed by ME, the mind and ego. Therefore, the body is only an instrument. Even if one believes in heaven and hell, the body doesn't go there. The ME, the mind and ego, moves forward beyond that to pay for our sins and to experience the reward of our good deeds. But the Soul, Spirit, it is the power of the Divine. It gives us breath without which there is death. The Spirit never sins.
