You meet more people skating then you would sitting on the couch watching the simpsons 6. You can become famous if your really good at skating 7. You can enter in comps and get cash and prizes 8. Figure skating is a sport where if you want to look good skating you have to be graceful. I am a figureskater and help kids skate and if you don't look graceful then you look diff and don't have good balance then you will not look good skating, that is why you must practice because if you haven't been on the ice in a long time and you go out there and start skating all over you will look messy.
