They're both good. Try some songs off the albums, listen to them on YouTube, then decide what you like better.
One is Thousand Foot Krutch's song Welcome to the Masquerade.
Welcome To The Masquerade by Thousand Foot Krutch? Welcome To The Masquerade lyrics Songwriters: Augustine, Steve; Bruyere, Joel; Mcnevan, Trevor; We've got the fire, who's got the matches? Take a look around at the sea of masks Come one, come all, welcome to the grand ball Where the strong run for cover and the weak stand tall I'm not one to scare the masses But there's somethings that melt the plastic Try and dig down deeper if you can I'm not afraid, I'm not ashamed I'm not to blame, welcome to the masquerade I'm not ashamed, I'm not afraid I'm not okay, welcome to the masquerade Welcome to the masquerade We've got the power, who's got the action? Break it down 'til there's nothing but a mere fraction Out of the fire, rise from the ashes Reject your doubt and release the passion Let's get on it, believe if you want it Step into the realm where the real ones flaunt it Come back, rewind, another time on it Reach out, take that but now step on it I'm not one to scare the masses But there's somethings that melt the plastic Try and dig down deeper if you can I'm not afraid, I'm not ashamed I'm not to blame, welcome to the masquerade I'm not ashamed, I'm not afraid I'm not okay, welcome to the masquerade Welcome to the masquerade I'm not afraid, I'm not ashamed I'm not to blame, welcome to the masquerade I'm not ashamed, I'm not afraid I'm not okay, welcome to the masquerade Welcome to the masquerade Welcome to the masquerade I'm not one to scare the masses But there's somethings that melt the plastic Try and dig down deeper if you can I'm not afraid, I'm not ashamed I'm not to blame, welcome to the masquerade I'm not ashamed, I'm not afraid I'm not okay, welcome to the masquerade Welcome to the masquerade. Like a lot of christian lyrics, "Welcome To The Masquerade" has a very strong message. This songs message is that Christians should take pride in what they worship. with phrases such as, "Im not afraid, im not ashamed," its understandable saying that the meaning of the song is that christians should never be afraid that society might be against who they are because of their religion.
I do not believe there are any. However, Already Home (off their new album, Welcome to the Masquerade) has piano for the verses.
They used to be rap-rock-pop-ish. If you listen to their older stuff, like "That's What People Do" or some of the tracks on "Set It Off" you can get a rap vibe from it. Their later stuff, like "Art Of Breaking" "The Flame In All Of Us" and "Welcome To The Masquerade" is less rap then their older stuff and more Alternative Christian rock/metal.

They are some of the best albums put out in a long time. TFK's Welcome To The Masquerade is a total front to cover epic journey. Skillet's Awake is one of the greatest albums put out by Skillet. They are both worth it 100%%%%%%%.

sixteen thousand million. You are welcome.

This is a matter of opinion. It is whoever you think is better, who you like more. Some people might think that Skillet's "Awake" album is AWESOME!!! and that TFK's (Thousand Foot Krutch) album is okay... While others might think TFK's album is AWESOME!!! and Skillet's album is okay...
