No, he's not. Sol was raised as a kittypet. He became a loner and went to SKyclan. For some reason he was kicked out (I haven't read the manga)and he swore revenge on the clan cats. Then he tried to turn the 4 main clans against each other. He make Blackstar not believe in Starclan etc..
