A government department that returns at least $7 to the economy for each $1 spent, is a terrific investment. In other words, you don't "fix the budget" by killing the cash cow. How many poor people would there be today if NASA hadn't made computers a home appliance?

We've looked for the answers we need down here, for millennia. It seems obvious they aren't here. But they may be up there.

I am on the neutral side, I think it is worth it for some reasons and is not for some other reasons. It is worth it, because we can see if anything out in space is going to affect earth. Therefore, I think that it is worth nothing, because we could be using the billions of dollars the government burns like fuel for useful reason. For example, we can use it for business trade. I think the other countries are smart, because every country has left the United States to explore space. None of the countries/continents has paid a penny. I actually think they are smart, that's why Japan, London, Russia, ETC, are in the names of the most productive country, while the U.S. is spending billions of dollars sending dumb astronauts to space and the moon. I mean come on, what is the point, its not as if we are going to live in space one day, but even though we were, I wouldn't! all I have to say is, America, GET A LIFE!

Hello up there. In case you hadn't noticed, we *do* live in space; where else is there? Knowing something about it seems like a pretty good idea to me!
