Begin by approaching him at the back of the train. He will run (left) at you, and you jump over him. Then he runs (right) at you, and you jump over him. Now he gets mad, and when you jump him, he goes all the way into the next subway car. Now he is in the 3rd car, so you go past him to the left side of that car and repeat the three jumps to get him into the 2nd car (next one to the left). Then you do it once more to get him into the 1st car.
