If you think it's a sin then,it's a sin. If not...it's alright.

I think the above answer is given in a spirit of inclusiveness, but it is potentially very dangerous. The approach that "whatever you believe is OK for you" has to have some reasonable parameters. Any spirituality that advocates or leads to the destruction of other people, or to the forced infringement of the freedoms of other people is wrong; it simply cannot be justified. I'm thinking of spirituality in a broad sense, and not strictly the biblical sense. The reason is because not everyone will be given the gift to be 'spiritual and not carnal' according to the Greek scriptures. God withholds the gift of faith from whom he will, and we have absolutely nothing to do with it. So the spirituality I am thinking of is the spirituality that can be part of everyone's experience, and not only those that God does not exclude by his own actions.

Another perspective:
In the New Testament, "spiritual" (Greek pneumatikos) means, "relating to the human spirit, or rational soul, as part of the man which is akin to God." As such, spirituality is not only NOT A SIN, it's a necessity.

Romans 8:6 - For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

1 Corinthians 2:14 - But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Colossians 1:9 - For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

Perhaps you're thinking of "spiritism," relating to the practice of contacting the dead through a medium. It IS a sin; condemned throughout both Old and New Testament scripture.

(According to the biblical definition, true "spirituality" will never advocate or lead to the "destruction of other people, or to the forced infringement of the freedoms of other people." That's not spirituality; that's misconstrued extremism.)
