Spray paint is okay, but for the future, make sure you use rust-resistant paint. This way you won't run into the same problem. Also, make sure you wash the furniture before painting so you get the longest use out of your patio!
There really isn't a way to remove a paint thinner stain from wood furniture. You must repaint or re-stain the furniture.

well when i did mine i used furniture paint i painted 1 coat sanded it then painted a 2 coat it works great i bought it from Lowe's I was scared to paint it how nice it was but it worked out great
You aren't really supposed to repaint it but if you do it looks best with chrome paint.
If its a deeep stain, remove door, sand it down and repaint. If not, a small paint chipper can usaually chip it off. hope this helps
