Organic stevia doesn't, if you grow it. It's just a plant. I don't know about what's in the storebought processed stuff, as I personally feel it tastes terrible. Just so you know, The actual plant (the leaf is the part you eat/cook with/use) and the stuff at the store are nothing alike.
