Stonefishes are definitely living things. They are like fishes living on land. They are found especially in Australian beaches and are extremely venomous. They resemble stones and lie inanimate on the beaches. When someone accidentally steps on it then it ejects venom into he organism's body and kills it in a matter of few seconds. The venom generally affects the nervous system and heart.

These species are known for their camouflaged appearance and potent venom. Stonefish inhabit shallow coastal waters and are often found among rocks and coral reefs, making them difficult to spot.
