If you are going the two size process it doesn't hurt to bad.
I when from a 14g to a 4g, then a 4g to 0g and it hurt like B**ch. I almost ripped my ear, I do not recommend doing that.
Go like this 20-18-16-14-12-10-8-6-4-2-0-00-7/16-1/2 and so on. The higher you go, from what I've heard, the worse it hurts.. Typically your right ear hurts more than your left also. duno why it just does.
Use tapers or pinchers.
When you're stretching it should not bleed. Listen to your body. I should a little but not a whole lot.
Not if you do it responsibly. Clean the stretch regularly and take it slow. If you go too quickly, you could get blowouts which are VERY unattractive. If you stretch to sizes above 2g, theres a high chance that they wont close up completely so that's something to consider. I definitely wouldn't say that stretching is harmful though.
That would be ear lobe stretching.
no its horrible and grose
OBVIOUSLY. your stretching your ear hole it won't hurt as bad as getting bigger ones but it still deffinitlyy hurts!
It is going to hurt, Because your having you ear cut, and stretched, the scapaling part aint to bad, Just fell like your ear is getting pierced over and over, but that pain aint that bad, but when they fit it it what is painful, Hurt less then stretching your ear with a taper, (if it hurts your doing it wrong) But It's not that bad. Healing is easy, and it makes your ears really really stretchy. (:

Ear stretching has become a trend among teenagers and young adults and serves as a fashion accessory. It is part of the "Hipster" culture and helps to identify yourself with this group.
a blowout is when the skin has been pushed from the inside of your ear. if you have a little bit of skin on the back of your ear around the stretching you should downsize and wait until it has healed. also your ears should not bleed while stretching :)
