It hurts, but its not that bad. I had it done yesterday. They clean off your eye, and they only part that hurt is getting the numbing shot on the bump. Mine was on my upper eyelid and HUGE. It took them awhile to numb it. They also gave me frops to numb my eyeball was well. The clamp to hold my eye open was uncomortable. But I didnt feel anything. Its more annoying and uncomfortable then anything. It is very swollen now, he said it will take a week to heal. It hurts more now then it did before, and I cant take any pain med because im pregnant. They also gave me a gel cream to put INTO my eye 4 times a day for the next 5 days. I sure heal asap!

its called a sty
I am not a medical expert, but this sounds like a sty. I will place a link below that explains what a sty is.
To get rid of a sty on the eye a person can use tea bags on their eyes. The tea contains tannins which are anti-bacterial and will help heal the sty.
Yes of coarse you can have more than one sty at a time
Go see your doctor.
Do not go swimming because the sty will sting and get worse from the chlorine in the water.
Mine with insurance..was around $200 ..my friend (unfortunately) with no insurance was $700 Although, stye is just a matter of a small "pimple - like "...thing... on your eye area..it only takes 10mins of surgery or maybe less....
