- Nothing with mass (like plasma) can ever reach the speed of light, as the energy required to do so, would be infinte (a fun little quirk of Einsteins equations on the matter ;P)
- As a particle with mass approaches the light speed, the mass increases, so the amount of energy needed approaches infinty.
