Yes, the 2006 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon comes standard with a sway bar disconnect feature. This allows drivers to easily disconnect the front sway bar, enhancing wheel articulation and off-road capability. The feature is particularly beneficial for tackling challenging terrain, making the Rubicon a more versatile off-road vehicle.
Electronic sway bar disconnect allows you, by the flip of a switch, to automatically disengage the sway bar when driving under 18mph in 4wd-low mode. The front wheels can then drop and compress up to 28% further on Wrangler Rubicon and 33% further on Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited.http://www.jeep.com/en/2008/wrangler/capability/performance/
The '08 for sure. 1. 2007 was the first run of the unlimiteds (4-doors); never purchase the first run of any vehicle. 2. 2008 Rubicons (fully optioned) have a button in the cab of the vehicle to disconnect the front sway bar which is very convenient.
