HI, i think testing is good option nowadays, gone are the day's when testing was considered inferior to development. I have been involved in testing for sometime now and i love my job. I started out wanting to be in development now i have no problems whatsoever. You get paid equal to a developer if not better. Even testing you are required to write programs called scripts using scripting languages like PERL, TCl/TK or PYTHON. So i guess testing is a good field.
